A Libyan Criminal Court has handed down convictions to six employees of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL). They were found guilty of intentionally stealing equipment and supplies crucial for establishing and maintaining the electrical supply network. Each offender received a ten-year prison sentence along with a fine of LD 1.466 million.
