DESCRIPTION::

The Lagos State Police Command detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) in Ikeja on Tuesday. The device was left by an unknown individual driving a white Toyota car around 3:55 p.m. A police officer reported seeing the unregistered car near the PMF 23 Barracks gate on Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way. The driver dropped a bag by the Nigeria Customs Service fence and drove off. The Explosive Ordnance Disposal-Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (EOD-CBRN) unit responded, safely detonated the device, and collected fragments for analysis and investigation.
