From 25 to 30 July 2024, Algerian authorities said they arrested 103 alleged illegal gold miners, and seized (05) vehicles, (46) generators, (31) piercing hammers, as well as quantities of crude gold and stones, explosives, detonation tools and equipment used in illicit gold operations.
