Mozambique: Two militiamen killed by insurgents

Insurgents attacked a local militia in Mecufi district, Cabo Delgado, Mozambique, killing two members. The assault occurred between Titimule and Naminaue villages, with suspicions that the same group targeted Pulo village earlier. The insurgents ambushed Mozambican Defense and Security Forces on patrol, resulting in injuries and vehicle destruction. Some injured individuals are receiving treatment in Pemba. President Filipe Nyusi urged terrorists to reconsider their actions a day before the attack.
