DESCRIPTION::
At least 31 people were killed and 10 others injured in southern Mali when a passenger bus en route to Burkina Faso overturned after the driver lost control. The accident occurred in Koumantou, south of Bamako, with 31 fatalities reported instantly. This incident follows a recent traffic accident on February 19, where 15 people died and more than 46 were injured in a collision between a public transport bus and a truck in central Mali. Accidents involving public transport buses are unfortunately common in Mali.
