DESCRIPTION::
In an attack by Islamist terrorists in Pulo village, Metuge district, northern Mozambique's Cabo Delgado province, two people working in fields were killed. The assailants captured three individuals, with one escaping, while the two women were beheaded. The terrorists, also reported heading towards Mazeze in Chiúre district, kidnapped women and children in Impiri village, Metuge. Contradictory reports state one person killed, over 40, with the terrorists moving towards Chiúre. Meanwhile, traffic has resumed between Macomia and Awasse after an aqueduct collapse disrupted the N380 road, connecting districts impacted by earlier river collapses.
