DESCRIPTION::
A clash between suspected bandits and soldiers in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State reportedly resulted in the death of numerous individuals. The bandits, en route to attack a village after the relaxation of a 24-hour curfew, encountered soldiers along Gindiri Road. While the Chairman of Mangu Local Government, Marcus Artu, confirmed the incident, he couldn't provide casualty figures. A resident mentioned that many bandits were killed or apprehended during the confrontation.
