Road access to the main town in Quissanga district, Cabo Delgado province, Mozambique, has been disrupted due to flooding in the Montepuez River, leading to the collapse of a bridge. The affected roads include the connection between Quissanga and Metuge district and the route between the village headquarters of Bilibiza administrative post and National Highway (N380). As a result, both roads are currently impassable. Quissanga district administrator Sidónio José stated that the only available means of reaching the town is now by sea.
