DESCRIPTION::
Insurgents in Mozambique's Cabo Delgado province burned down a health unit, market, church, and priests' residence in Mazeze administrative post, Chiúre district. The attack occurred around 4 p.m., prompting most residents to flee. No deaths were reported as residents had already left or hid. Despite the attack, life in Chiúre continues, with many families relocating to Mecúfi district. During the invasion, insurgents engaged in dialogue with locals, demanding religious acts in line with Islam. In recent incidents, terrorists abducted a bus driver on National Road 380 and attacked the village of Nacoja, burning down churches and huts.
