Mozambique: Gang raids anti-corruption office in Manica

Unidentified criminals recently broke into the Manica Provincial Office for the Fight against Corruption in central Mozambique, stealing computers and criminal files. It's suspected that a police officer and a soldier were involved. The robbery unfolded when a uniformed police officer arrived, claiming to be on duty, followed by a military officer who engaged with the police officer and a security guard. The perpetrators fled upon the arrival of actual duty officers. The police spokesperson in Manica stated she had no information on the case. This marks the second similar crime in Manica, following a previous incident in 2023 involving a break-in at a magistrates' condominium.
