The heatwave, with temperatures reaching 48.3°C, affected several areas from Monday to Wednesday. Most victims were elderly or had chronic illnesses. The government has implemented measures to mitigate the heat's impact, including setting up health facility shifts and mobilizing healthcare professionals. The temperature peaked at 48.3°C in Kasba Tadla and broke records in Ifrane. Temperatures are expected to decrease soon.
