DESCRIPTION::
Police in Settat seized a large-scale drug smuggling attempt on Wednesday evening. A 30-year-old suspect was arrested in a village near Berrechid, with a hidden shipment of 103 packages of Chira totaling 3.826 tons found in a vehicle with forged license plates. Additionally, cocaine doses, another vehicle, and counterfeit license plates were discovered. The suspect, who had outstanding warrants related to drug trafficking and attempted murder in various Moroccan cities, is detained pending further investigation supervised by the Public Prosecution to identify accomplices and unravel the activities of this criminal network.
