DESCRIPTION::

The NGO Alarm Phone Sahara reported that eastern Libyan authorities expelled 463 Nigerien migrants to the desert in Niger. The migrants, who had been arrested by forces affiliated with Khalifa Haftar on July 18, were transported to the border in cargo trucks and later arrived in Dirkou, Niger. Alarm Phone Sahara also warned of a potential new wave of expulsions that could affect over a thousand people.
