DESCRIPTION::
The General Directorate for Criminal Investigation in Sabha announced the dismantling of a criminal gang in the Abdul Kafi neighborhood. The gang was involved in kidnapping irregular migrants and demanding ransom for their release. A security operation led to the capture of the gang and the rescue of 79 migrants, including 14 women. Investigations unveiled that the gang deceived African migrants with promises of employment before detaining them and demanding ransom from their families.
