The SENS Movement, a political movement advocating for transparency, integrity, and cohesion within various sectors, expressed outrage over the kidnappings related to the renewal of the Burkinabe Football Federation (FBF) leadership. It denounces the use of "authoritarian" and "barbaric" practices aimed at intimidating candidates and ensuring the imposition of Colonel-Major Oumarou Sawadogo as President. The Movement reported ongoing harassment of Ali Guissou, a candidate to the federation top leadership, as as the abduction of his supporters, Boureima Sawadogo and Jean-Paul Moné.
