Four Burkina soldiers have been dismissed from the army, based on orders signed by Minister of Defense Brigadier General Kassoum Coulibaly on February 9. The soldiers were,accused of serious offenses such as arms trafficking, fraud, theft, and concealing materials belonging to others and the army. With these dismissals, the total number of soldiers removed from duty since the start of the year rises to six. Chief Warrant Officer Savadogo Dalibou was dismissed on January 31 for fraudulently withholding funds intended for civilian army volunteers. Additionally, Captain Martial Nayiré was dismissed on January 5 for grave misconduct.
