DESCRIPTION::

The police in Tipasa, in coordination with the coast guard, dismantled two criminal networks involved in organizing illegal maritime crossings, arresting 21 individuals over the past weekend. This operation thwarted two separate attempts of clandestine emigration by sea on the maritime fronts of Bou Ismail and Tipasa.

The first operation, conducted by the Judicial Police in Bou Ismail and the maritime brigade in Bouharoun, led to the arrest of 15 people, including 3 suspected organizers of the crossings. They seized navigation equipment and 1,730 euros.

The second operation in Tipasa, coordinated by the Judicial Police and the coast guard, resulted in the arrest of 6 people attempting to leave the country illegally, including 2 organizers. The suspects were referred to the relevant prosecutor's office.
