DESCRIPTION::

Six members of the same family died on Sunday, 14 January 2024, at their home in the municipality of Ain El Melh in the wilaya of M'Sila, after being poisoned with carbon monoxide gas, said a statement from the Civil Protection Directorate. The gas emanated from a defective heater. The victims, four females and two males, were between aged 4 and 47 years of age. A seventh person suffered from breathing difficulties and was evacuated to the hospital in Ain El Melh. It should be noted that the inhalation of carbon dioxide has caused the death of 8 people in the wilaya of MSila in the previous 24 hours.
