DESCRIPTION::
Sonatrach's management reported in a statement that the incident at one of the six reheaters of the GL1Z gas liquefaction plant in Arzew, which occurred during the night from Sunday to Monday, was fully controlled. The plant resumed operations on Monday afternoon using the five remaining reheaters. The incident, recorded at 1:25 AM on Monday, caused damage to one reheater and injured an employee, who was treated for burns on the upper limbs and is in stable condition at Oran hospital. Sonatrach confirmed that the quick intervention of maintenance and inspection teams allowed the plant to restart by 1 PM on Monday without impacting the complex's production capacity.
