DESCRIPTION::
On February 12, 2024, the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) said launched targeted attacks on a Moroccan army warning point and base in the Hausa sector (see map). It alleges "significant" casualties and equipment damage. The SPLA statement issued by the Central Directorate of Political Orientation reported concentrated shelling on a warning point in the Arbib Al-Kaa area and an assault on a Moroccan base in the Laktaytira area.
