DESCRIPTION::

The Ondo State Security Network, known as Amotekun Corps, has launched a search operation in the Akunu forest to rescue passengers who were kidnapped after armed assailants attacked an 18-passenger bus. The incident occurred in Ayere community, Kogi State, near the border with Ondo State, where the driver was killed, and all passengers were abducted, leaving behind a child. Ondo Amotekun Corps, along with hunters and soldiers, have mobilized to the forest to locate and rescue the victims, despite the incident happening outside Ondo State jurisdiction. Ondo Amotekun Commander, Akogun Adeleye Adetunji, confirmed the deployment of corps operatives to the area.
