Mozambique: Nearly 900k IDPs due to terror violence

Mozambique is grappling with significant displacement, hosting around 25,000 refugees and 850,599 internally displaced individuals, largely due to terrorist attacks and the impact of the climate crisis. The devastation includes attacks in Cabo Delgado and the aftermath of Tropical Cyclones Freddy and Gombe. While some people have returned to their areas, many face challenging conditions. The UNHCR, along with partners, is working to provide support and assistance, but funding falls short of the required $47.5 million.
